My dear blog, did I ever mention I play in a band called the Jeepit? I didn’t? So you had better have a look at the Jeepit blog – actually it is the official website of the band – to find out more about what we are doing.
I used to play in another band, I mean the Rallapee, but I had to leave them. I simply did not have enough time to be involved in so many activities, to play and sing in so many groups. The Jeepit is what I want to do now.
I sing in a church chamber choir Cantionale at the Tampere Lutheran cathedral. Actually I am the chair of the choir at the moment, which means quite a lot of work from time to time.
Cantionale choir celebrated it 25th anniversary on 18 May 2008 by singing Bach’s Christ lag in Todes Banden and Mozart’s Missa breve in D major. Afterwards we had dinner and spent some time with the choir and its musical conductors in a restaurant. It was really worth it!
